COMMON SEX PROBLEM A MAN MAY HAVE IN HIS MARRIAGE

As it is common for a woman to have sexual problem in her marriage life, so it is for a man to also have sexual related problem in his marriage life. The most sexual problem that men encounter during life is as a result of

every day stress they pass through to meet the family needs, sexual problem in men could also arise as a result of careless life style of some men or habitual consumption of alcohol or cigarette. But the most common of these problems are: premature ejaculation and impotence. These sexual problems give men sleepless night and make them dread mentioning the word sex to their wife.

Premature ejaculation is when a man is unable to control the timing of ejaculation, and reaches his sexual climax before the intercourse begins or immediately after entering his wife. This is a very embarrassing moment for men. This problem can be overcome with some little patience and understanding. One of the best ways to deal with this problem is to focus on something that is not related to sex during foreplay, this will help to control the timing of ejaculation during sex. When you over-focus your attention on sex during foreplay, the resultant effect will cause anxiety in you and cause you premature ejaculation. Another method is to focus on something else when the actual act is going on, this will even make you forget that you are having sex with your wife, this can make you stay long during sexual intercourse with your wife. There is another method which has proven effective in controlling early ejaculation in men, this method is referred to as “squeezing method”, and this will involve the wife giving a helping hand in this method. The couples are expected to practice this method for a period of one week or more before it becomes effective. With this practice a man is supposed to inform the wife when he feels he is approaching climax, the wife will in turn squeezes the top of his penis with her finger and thumb, this practice helps to stop ejaculation and cause sexual tension to subside.  This practice has helped many men to overcome premature ejaculation, and it has been found to be very effective in reversing premature ejaculation.

Another sexual problem men usually have in marriage is impotence. Impotence is the inability of a man to achieve erection during sexual intercourse. This could be partial or complete impotence. Men feel about impotence the same way women feel about an inability to reach an orgasm – frustration is the feeling for impotence and inability to reach orgasm. Impotence can arise as a result of fatigue, depression, hostility, a long year of continued masturbation or undue pressure; anxiety can also be one of the major courses of impotence.

Anxiety in a man can cause him not to achieve full erection. This anxiety comes from the man’s pressure to perform and satisfy the wife sexually. Here the woman can help the husband by making him understand that her love for him was not based on his sexual prowess. This assurance from the wife can help bring down the tension that causes anxiety to rise and the man will achieve full erection in no time. Another technique to the treatment of impotence is to encourage husband and wife to lie down on the bed naked, embracing each other; they are not to attempt intercourse no matter how erect the man feels or the woman wanting to have sex. By practicing this technique anxiety is removed from the man while expectation of erection is enhanced. This practice should be kept up for about a week or more for perfection. This technique gives a man an inner release that enable him move towards a joyous sexual relationship with the wife.
